Houston Ear Allergy and Rhinology Surgical Associates provides expert ENT care for patients of all ages. Our team uses diagnostic technologies to identify the source of persistent nasal congestion, face pressure, and ear pain. Dr. Sana also specializes in non-draining and draining ear issues resulting from chronic ear infections or eardrums.
Dr. Sana performs outpatient surgeries in the clinic and at local outpatient surgery centers for adults and children. Some surgical procedures we offer include, septoplasty to repair a deviated septum, tympanoplasty to reconstruct ruptured eardrums, and ear tube placement, among many others.

Dr. Said Sana, D.O., is a board-certified and fully licensed ENT physician and surgeon in Houston, Texas. Dr. Sana’s philosophy stresses shared decision-making with patients regarding their care and developing relationships with them and their families to optimize the care received in the office and at home. He strongly believes in patient education and empowering individuals to be stewards of their well-being.
Dr. Sana practiced general ENT and otology in Michigan for several years before relocating to Spring, Texas, to start his practice with 13 years of experience. Although his subspecialty is in ear and hearing surgery, Dr. Sana feels strongly that providing comprehensive ENT care to the community is the basis of his practice.
Dr. Sana is married. He is also a parent of three young children and can relate to parents’ concerns when their child is not feeling well. His outside interests include spending time with his wife and children, college football, barbequing, trucks, hiking, swimming, and travel. His brother serves in the military, and the practice proudly supports military families and veterans.
Dr. Sana completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery through Michigan State University and the Detroit Medical Center. His training at DMC’s tertiary-level hospital system in downtown Detroit provided him with extensive experience and exposure to a wide range of pathology. One of the primary hospitals included The Children’s Hospital of Michigan and he received significant training in Pediatric ENT.
During his residency, Dr. Sana developed a keen interest in ear and hearing surgery and was accepted into an Otology Fellowship with world-renowned Dr. Paparella at the University of Minnesota.

Michael Skelley, BC-HIS, is a board-certified hearing instrument specialist with over ten years of experience working with all major manufacturers. Michael is passionate about improving people’s well-being by treating their hearing loss and takes a personalized approach to deliver tailored solutions for each patient. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, Michael is committed to providing the highest level of care and staying up to date with the latest developments in the field.
After attending school at San Antonio College in Texas, Michael decided to follow in his mother’s footsteps, begin his career as a second-generation hearing instrument specialist, and carry on this family legacy.
In his spare time, Michael enjoys all things technology related, from tinkering with electronics to building computers. As such, fitting and dispensing hearing aids come naturally.
